My Daily Practice & Intention of Gratitude
The expression of gratitude becomes easier and flows with practice. Like all of my daily spiritual practices, they become easier and more effective through the practice of them. Practice makes perfect.
Gratitude is:
“The quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness”.
WikipediaThe law of Attraction states ‘like attracts like’
So if you are putting attention on the good things in your life and expressing gratitude for what you have, your intention is that energy flows there , and you will attract more.
“If you’re grateful you will be given more, and you will have an abundance”...“In your life, the law operates on your thoughts and feelings, because they are energy too, and so whatever you think, whatever you feel, you attract to you” – The Magic Rhonda Byrne.
And this means good and bad thoughts. The more you express gratitude, the more you will attract things in your life to be grateful for and the more you will receive!
We were all raised with manners and told how important it is to say thank you when you receive kindness in any form. However, how many times do you appreciate you and say thank you to yourself? Seriously that is a question!
Appreciating yourself can be highly underrated and under used. It’s all part of self love. If we could put more attention with intention into what we are grateful for, with deliberate conscious thoughts, it would increase the gratitude we have in our lives.
“Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough” – Oprah Winfrey
Practice intentionally everyday and you will see and feel the difference.
I'll be telling you more about my journal later.
